Student Council Reps in each class took photos of our Odd Socks Day!

Student Council held a meeting on Thursday 24th March.
They discussed:
1. Odd Socks Day for Down Syndrome. They had to remind their class and were responsible for taking photos.
2. Suggestion boxes. Each class rep were to make a suggestion box for their class. They were to explain the function of the suggestion box, and give examples of realistic suggestions and unrealistic suggestions.

We will meet  again before Spring Holidays to look at the suggestions and see what we can plan for the last term!

Student Council 2022

We held our Student Council Elections in December 2021.  A HUGEEE thank you to our previous student council, who had been in representatives since 2020 due to Covid. They did an amazing job and achieved so much.

Our new Student Council members can be found on the display outside Niamh's office.
The first student council meeting of 2022 took place on Friday 21st Jan on our Pentagonal Table outside. We met and introduced ourselves to eachother, as we will all be working together as a team. We took some time to discuss and plan Stand Up to Racism Week which is happening next week. Each class rep will make a poster and tell their class about it. They will also be responsible for collecting the collaborative artwork on Friday. We are already looking forward to our next meeting.

Student Council 2020 - 2021

Student council members from each class were responsible for making a card to thank front line workers for all that they did. The children made cards to a variety of places, including Tallaght Hospital and Peamount Hospital. We were delighted to receive letters of thanks from both hospitals.

Student Council Elections 2017-2018

This year Sarah is the teacher co-ordinating our Student Council. The first news from our Student Council is that Rathfarnham Educate Together N.S. sent our school a wonderful gift of a beautiful Nature Book. Our Student Council showed it to all the classes in our school and they made a 'Thank You' card for Rathfarnham Educate Together N.S. The book will be very well used in our school for our projects and classwork, particularly as part of Forest School and Outdoor Classroom. Thanks so much to our friends in Rathfarnham E.T.N.S.

The parents involved in the Student Council this year are:
