Welcome to Clíona's Junior Infant Class!
We had lots of fun learning all about the post office and writing our letters to post home this month!
Fun in the playground!
We have been learning all about the restaurant during Aistear!
We thought the skittles experiment was really cool!
All of the children put a huge effort into making their boats from recycled materials. We decided we had to have a boat party!
We really enjoyed the challenge of making newspaper hats for Science Week!
Caleb is a huge fan of the Beatles and over midterm he completed a project all about them. It seems Caleb also had some free time to teleport to Abbey Road himself!
Self Expression Day!
The children really enjoyed talking about their costumes. It was very tricky to try to guess who was who!
Barley O' Hay travelled from a faraway field to spend some time in Firhouse ETNS! Every so often some new friends come to join him as he watches over the Junior Infants.
We embarked on a nature walk and built some homes for local hedgehogs to hibernate in!
Maths Week: We practiced making two-colour patterns and had fun problem solving and adding with the BeeBots!
Autumn leaves are falling down!
We have been working hard to fill up our nature table! We have also made some handprint leaves and learned about the solar system for Space Week.
Aistear: We've been working very hard to build some new hospitals together and had lots of fun learning about the doctor's office!
We've been practicing interesting ways to write our names and enjoying some books!
The children have been exercising their hands by engaging in fine motor activities.
